Uwharrie Point in central North Carolina and home of the Old North State Club implemented CapSure’s comprehensive visitor management system including a remote kiosk to manage the contractors and vendors to an unmanned entry point. The remote, unmanned entry system allows visitors to use a call button to contact the main gate. The main gate is able to view the location via a camera and monitor, engage in a conversation with the visitor, and use the CapSure VMS to process the visitor. Processing includes looking up the visitor’s access privileges in CapSure and using the built-in dialer to contact the host if the visitor is not pre-authorized. Security is then able to send a print command to the kiosk printer. The printed passes contain the hosts name, visitor’s name, directions, expiration date, and a barcode to allow re-entry (until expired) through the unmanned kiosk without contacting security.
