CapSure makes it fast and easy to process visitors and employees through the use of a Symbol handheld. Rugged and durable, this handheld provides all of the functionality for processing visitors as a full PC. And it can be used to read RFID and bar codes. Originally developed for Fisher Island FL, to process employees and visitors to the island accessible only by ferry, the handheld has more uses for any guarded commercial facility.
- Use the handheld whenever a stationary computer is not feasible. A security officer can roam the premises or a specific entry area and process visitors and other authorized personnel.
- Use the handheld to process contractors and vendors at a remote location.
- Pictures stored in the CapSure database allow the handheld user to quickly match a bar code or RFID to the proper owner. Reading a valid bar code or RFID will display the associated pictures of the employee, and/or contractors.
- The CapSure handheld with the Roaming Patrol option allows patrol officers to record security incidents directly into the handheld device.
- Roaming Patrol function also provides lookup capabilities on visitors, vehicles, phone numbers, and other information in the CapSure database.
