With the release of CapSure 4.1 for the commercial marketplace, CapSure has unleashed a number of new features for the residential market as well. Now residents can receive a text or email message as soon as their visitor has been processed at the gate. Says, one resident, ‘now I don’t have to worry about the phone ringing and waking the baby to announce a visitor arrival.’ Another resident commented ‘this gives us a few minutes to tidy up before the visitor actually arrives.’ It’s a five minute ride from the entry.

CapSure 4.1 allows allows large communities to filter visitors by the gate they are intended to arrive at. A community with multiple gates for example, may not want to view data for visitors that are intended for one area of the community to appear in the records of another area.

4.1 allows allows communities to screen passengers as well as the driver of the vehicle. Certain communities have indicated that in the case of contractors for example, it’s not enough to simply gather the details about the driver. They want to scan the driver’s license of all passengers and have their stored with the same transaction record.

And, for the communities that prefer a badge instead of a windshield pass, or in some cases, want both a pass and a badge, CapSure 4.1 includes badge printing. Badge printing may be handy for condominiums that want to issue a badge for contractors that may on site. And, if the driver’s license scanner is used, the image from the driver’s license is printed directly on the badge itself.
